Due to the complexity of creating accessible forms, please note that PDF forms are not covered in this course.

We recommend taking the Self-Paced Microsoft Word Accessibility Course before attempting this course.

Please see the Syllabus for course information, time commitment, and a list of FAQs.

Wait! Before you begin this course...Does the content need to be in a PDF?

inclusive learning environment benefiting all students

Can the PDF content be placed into a Canvas page? It is much simpler to create an accessible Canvas page.  In fact, doing so eases student navigation.  When using Canvas, students need only focus on your content and use "Nexting" to navigate to the following page in your course. Find out if your PDF needs to remain a PDF or if it would be best suited to a different format, in the module "New Around Here? Let's Start!"

Course Activity: Practice what you learn!

PDF Activity IconWhen you see the Fix Me PDF  icon on the left, you will be asked to remediate an inaccessible PDF.

This micro-course will build on the accessibility techniques you learn. An answer guide will be provided to help you monitor your progress.
