Module 4 Practice Quiz: Regular and Effective Contact

This is a Practice Quiz to help you see the basic workings of creating assessments in Canvas.

Below are two samples of the directions you might have typed in a quiz (if you like one you can copy & paste it):

1. Time: This quiz is not timed
2. Attempts: To ensure you are happy with your score  - you may take this quiz twice.

Exam Tips:

1. Zoom in on images - use the control button & + (CTRL+) to zoom in on any images that are too small to see
2. Remember to use your resources to find the answers:

• • Internet - you can search for the definition of terms
  • computer/programs - often opening the same location/view/program will allow you to hover over locations.  this will provide names and/or tips that will provide the answers
  • Textbook - the index is very helpful
  • Lecture - lecture often contains necessary information:

Exam Policy

• Time: you have 50 minutes from the time you start
• Attempts: one (you can only take this once so make sure to do your best the first time!)
• Resources: remember to use your resources during the exam as that is what a good computer user would do.

 Exam tips

• read questions carefully

• skip questions when you are not sure - go back to it later
  • question list in upper right hand corner
    • puts a check mark next to answered questions
    • leaves a question mark next to skipped questions
    • click on the question number & it will jump you to that question

  • I like to fix them for the next class
  • sometimes I will delete them & then it does not count against your score
