Joining a Group

Joining a Group

Groups can be organized two different ways in a Canvas course. Your instructor may ask you to join a group where you will work together with classmates on projects and assignments. Or, your instructor may already assign you to a group and you will not have the option to choose a group.

 

Accessing Your Groups in Your Course

 

1. 1. 1. To access Groups, click on the "People" link in your course navigation.
      2. Then select the "Groups" tab.

 

The "Groups" tab lists all groups currently in the course. Available groups will have a "Join" link on the right-hand side.

 

Joining Groups

 

Find the group you wish to join and click on the “Join” link.
