Annotations

Your instructor may choose to include comments directly in an assignment submission using inline comments or annotations. If an assignment submission details page includes a "View Feedback" button, you can view these annotated comments through a preview tool called Canvas DocViewer.

Opening Assignment Feedback with Annotations

      1. From the Submission Details page, click on "View Feedback".
      2. Use the small triangle lines in the bottom right to adjust the window size if needed.

Annotations can include instructor comments in addition to the comments you may see in the right-hand side of your Assignment Submission Details page. You can also use the DocViewer to make your own annotations on your assignment.
