Project 2: Aperture / Shutter & Portraits

- Objective: to use Lightroom’s exposure adjustments with your portrait photographs.
- Your images must show in camera aperture / shutter speed competency.
- Your subject is portraiture with an emphasis on time of day.

Requirements:
- You will create 4 individual portraits utilizing the technical knowledge you have learned so far this semester, regarding shutter speed, aperture, depth of field, ISO, lighting, and composition. You will make one photograph for each category.
- Shoot a minimum of 150 different photographs.
- For this assignment, do not use a strobe (flash) as your main source of light. Your lighting system is the sun.
Some options to consider;
- Open shade or sunlit, possibly with reflectors (used only to lighten the shadow areas)
- Indoor window light
- High key (strong/contrasty) or low key (soft, no harsh shadows)
- Is your subject looking at the camera or elsewhere?
- Including the environment or using minimal background
