Summative Exam 1 (Ch. 1, 2, 3, & 4)

Learning Goal

Exam 1 will be your opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned from the lectures and homework assignments in Ch. 1, 2, 3, & 4. 

For Ch.1, this exam will test your knowledge of the history of psychology presented in lecture. It will make clear you understand how to think critically about a topic. It will also let you demonstrate you can identify the specific psychological perspectives. Finally, you will need to show you recognize the different methodologies used in the field of psychology including their advantages and disadvantages.

Instructions

You are to work on your own on this exam. I do allow you to look at your notes or book if you have time, but if I determine you are sharing with a classmate, you will both get zero on the exam.

Exam 1 is due by the end of Saturday, March 20. You can take this exam at any point before the deadline. However, once you open this exam, you will have 2 hours to take it. It is just 50 multiple choice/true or false questions and 1 Bonus question, so you should have plenty of time. I suggest you study for it like you would do for an in-class exam. Mark your answers but then take the remaining time to check your answer in your notes or textbook.

The questions are separated by chapters.
