Video and Reading Questions
In an effort to make this class more accessible, we have migrated to a format where your lecture videos will not be presented through zoom. I have found some wonderful lecture materials to accompany your reading assignments. The video lectures are considered some of the best in the world. To support this video content, I will be holding zoom meetings for this class on Monday and Wednesday during class times (check conferzoom widget). These meetings will be recorded. The content of these meetings will be answering questions that you post in these participation assignments. The first week, Week 12, will have two assignments. The first assignment will cover the material from Week 11, while the second will cover Week 12.
These participation assignments will be worth participation points. You will need to ask three fully formed questions. I am not looking for questions such as "What is _____________?" This sort of question does not show that you tried to understand the material. I am looking for questions that show that, as you were reading and watching the videos, you have real questions about the ideas covered in the material. An example of a good question follows: "In example 99.99, the solution states that the force vector is always perpendicular to the path. How is that possible when we look at figure 33.77"
We will try to work through as many of the questions you have from the reading and videos during the two weekly meetings.
