Section 6 involves Chapter 13 "Personal Safety and Contemporary Medicine". After completing Chapter 13, students will be able to accomplish the following:

1) Identify Types of Unintentional Injuries.

2) Identify Strategies for Reducing the Risk of Unintentional Injuries.

3) Identify Types of Violence.

4) Identify Strategies for Responding to Emergencies.

5) Identify the Importance of Health Care.

6) Identify the Difference between Conventional and Complimentary / Alternative Medicine.

7) Identify the various Health Insurance Plans.

Resources available to students for accomplishing the above mentioned learning outcomes include: reading Chapter 13, reviewing power points, reviewing section 6 module videos.

Section 6 will begin on Apr 27th thru May 4th. The final assessment, Exam #6 will be on May 6th (8am until 11:59pm for ebook students).
