Need an Accessible PDF?

The good news is that now you know how to create an accessible Word Doc, and if appropriate for your situation - will have a (mostly) accessible PDF. 

Remember that if the content is essential to the learning objective and not the format (or how it looks on the page), leaving the document as a Word Doc or using some other method may be easier to manage than converting to another format (e.g., PDF). 

We'll discuss how converting an accessible Word Doc doesn't necessarily generate a perfectly accessible PDF.  

At the end of this module, you should be:

• Familiar with how to convert a Word Doc to a PDF.
• Choose export settings that retain all of your accessibility work.
