Search for Accessible Videos

Search for video with closed-captioning and transcripts

“Great design is not just a solution, it is the elimination of the problem.” -Cobanli

If you are designing your course, you can save a lot of time by selecting accessible content.  If you are using publisher materials and find they are not accessible, you should contact your publisher.  Many publishers will correct the content.  Below, you will find two methods for locating videos with closed-captioning.

Films On Demand

At SCF, we have a catalogue of videos available that are closed-captioned.

To search in Canvas, just click the “f” icon, and it will launch the search engine.

You can also search the Library video collection from the library website.  All videos in the FIlms on Demand collection will have closed-captioning.
